I was born in Cremona 24 years ago and I currently am a student at Bocconi university. In October 2009 I opened this fashion blog, recommending to my followers a personal look every day with great attention to details, complete with text and captions in Italian and English (65% of followers are foreigners).

Less than two years after its opening, TBS has reached 90,000 views daily (more than 500.000 unique visitors and 7.500.000 impressions per month).

Mentioned by the New York Times as “One of the biggest breakout street-style star of the Year” I got important personal achievements from the end of 2009 until now.

In 2010 I was the presenter for “Best Look” of the Italian TRL Awards, a guest at Chiambretti Night (famous italian tv variety show) and guest of honor during the Pennyblack Vogue Fashion Night Out in Milan last september (and I will do the same for the 2011 edition).
I have also posed as a model for the lookbook of Silvian Heach and in the same year I started a collaboration with the monthly “A” magazine, where I weekly write about fashion and youth.

The year 2011 has been a great year so far, thanks to the catwalk that I did for Alberta Ferretti during the 79th edition of Pitti, along with other “real women” who have distinguished themselves in their work fields.
In the same year I was godmother to the launch of new Furla “Candy Bag” and the winner of the “Newcomer Blogger of the Year” Bloglovin Awards Prize in New York.
In May I was one of the protagonists of the red carpet in Cannes for the Premiere of the movie “Habemus Papam” by italian director Nanni Moretti.
In the same period I posed with other young emerging personalities for the new Hogan FW 2011 Campaign “Future Roots”, which was already launched in the past days.

I’m also preparing for the launch of my 3rd season shoe line “Chiara Ferragni” (Chiaraferragni.com): a perfect combination of my style and the amazing “made in Italy”. In September I will also start a challenging collaboration with the underwear brand Yamamay, covering different roles.

Some of the brands I collaborated with are: Guerlain, Dior, Furla, Woolrich, Grey Goose, Pennyblack, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenzo, Nikon, Mango, Polyvore, Louis Vuitton, Philipp Plein, Alberto Guardiani, Diego Dalla Palma, Easyjet, Hogan, Benetton, Seven For All Mankind, Lancome..

The Great Fashion of The Great Gatsby

its one of the most hyped movie of 2012 together with Les Miserables yet the production of the movie pushed the premier to 2013. One of the most well-loved literature of all time, F.Scott Fitsgereald’s The Great Gatsy is making a huge wave once again together with an all star ensemble of great actors and director and of course fashion.

Catherine Martin, costume designer of the forthcoming movie together with the director Baz Luhrmann, commisioned Miuccia Prada of one of the most renowned fashion house PRADA to make 40 looks for the party scene of the movie. Luhrmann wanted a look for Carey Mulligan’s character Daisy Buchanan ‘..to be the most beautiful and rich woman on earth’ as so was the fashion house was able to comply.

“That’s what’s interesting,” she explained. “The point of view can transform things so much. Yes, probably a few [dresses] had that kind of edge, but almost none were meant to be the Twenties when I did them. I was really fascinated by that.”

In New York City, the movie kicked off with a week long event where the fashion house, Prada, displayed the costumes used in the movie.

Valentino Couture just keeps on getting better and better. Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Creative Directors at Valentino, have really hit their stride!

The Helmut Lang fashion brand was created by Austrian fashion designer Helmut Lang (born 1956) in 1986. The Helmut Lang brand still exists today, but has been carried on without Lang’s involvement since 2005.

Lang is known for his minimalist, deconstructivist, and often severe designs. His fashion house became famous in the late 1980s for its simple but refined designs, its slim suits in black or white, its denimcollection, and the use of high-tech fabrics. Helmut Lang fashions were sold in upscale department stores and through select retailers, as well as in signature Helmut Lang stores around the world. In 1999, Lang entered into a partnership with Prada Group which resulted in the acquisition of the Helmut Lang brand by Prada in 2004, and Mr. Lang’s departure from the label in 2005. Prada consequently sold it to Link Theoryof Japan in 2006. Link Theory re-launched the Helmut Lang label with new designers in 2007. Since then, Helmut Lang fashions have been available again at upscale department stores and signature Helmut Lang boutiques worldwide.

“We see this as a game-changer for the brand,” said Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American Fragrances for Coty Prestige, speaking of Florabotanica.

She noted the current Balenciaga scent business was designed to appeal to 25- to 35-year-olds but is finding its sweet spot with the classic-loving, 35-plus market.

“Florabotanica targets a younger consumer — 18-year-olds and up,” continued Walsh. “They may not know Cristóbal Balenciaga, but they certainly know Nicolas Ghesquière. In the U.S., this is very much a fashion brand.”

She called the flower in the fragrance’s ad visual “not just a pretty flower, but a pretty dangerous flower. Nicolas’ vision is to twist and turn the heritage and make it something of today.”

Countrywide, the Florabotanica line will include 30-, 50- and 100-ml. eau de parfum sprays that are to retail for $65, $95 and $125, respectively. Ancillaries are to include a body lotion and shower gel.

Florabotanica will be carried in about 300 U.S. specialty store doors. After a one-month exclusive in September with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, the scent is to be rolled out in October to Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s.

In September, the fragrance will be introduced abroad in the U.K., Canada and France. The rollout will then include Italy, Russia and Spain in October, followed by Australia, Germany and the Benelux countries in November. Worldwide, Florabotanica will be carried in about 5,000 doors.

She is self-described as a “passionate fashionista” and has been described by Helmut Newton as a “fashion maniac”. Dello Russo is often featured in popular street style blogs The Sartorialist and Jak & Jil. She has gone on record to state that she owns over 4,000 pairs of shoes.

To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, the clothing website yoox.com printed 10 different shirts for sale, each with one of Dello Russo’s top ten outfits. The shirts went on to sell out within the first day they were made available.

In November 2010 she made a new fragrance named Beyond, with the bottle in the form of a shoe.. Dello Russo was born in Bari, and currently resides in Milan.

Liu Wen (simplified Chinese: 刘雯; traditional Chinese: 劉雯; pinyin: Liú Wén; born January 27, 1988) is a Chinese fashion model. She is the first model of Chinese descent to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. In 2010, she became a face of Estée Lauderalongside Constance Jablonski.

Liu was born into a working class family on January 27, 1988, in Yongzhou, a city in the Hunan province of China. Because of China’s one-child policy Liu Wen is an only child. As a teen her mother encouraged her to be professional, to eat well, and, critically, to enter the modeling contest which led to Liu Wen’s discovery.

Liu started her modeling career in 2005 when she entered the New Silk Road World Model Contest, a contest previously won by international covergirl Du Juan. Although she did not win that competition Liu Wen soon began working fulltime as a model, becoming a national success story when she landed the cover of Chinese FHM.^[3] She has accepted modeling work with Chinese fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

In September 2007, Liu caught the attention of the international fashion industry when she shot a Cosmo editorial in clothes designed by Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf and would later walk for each of those firms. She was invited to Paris in 2008, and signed with the Marilyn Agency.

For the Spring 2010 Ready-to-wear season, she walked 70 shows in New York, Paris and Milan which made her the second most booked model for the season following French model Constance Jablonski.

In April 2010, it was announced that Liu and Jablonski would help to represent the cosmetics company Estée Lauder. Liu is the first Asian face of the company.

As of May 2012 Liu Wen is ranked 6th on the Top 50 Models Women List by models.com.

In the past she has said that after modeling she might enjoy working as a professional photographer or, were the opportunity to arise, even as an actress, but she enjoys modeling and working in the fashion industry with its beautiful clothes and talented, highly-imaginative people. She is well aware, however, that, as a career choice, working as a fashion designer or stylist would be “very hard work.”^[9] She is now more seriously considering becoming a fashion designer because she would like “to share her fashion style - tomboyish and comfortable - with the world.”

Wen is known in the fashion industry for her professionalism and her friendly and outgoing personality. She is friends with fellow models Eniko Mihalik, Hye Rim Park, Charlotte Hoyer, Karolin Wolter, Laura Blokhina, Joan Smalls, Diana Farkhullina, Arlenis Sosa, Yulia Leontieva, Lyndsey Scott, and fellow Chinese models Emma Pei, Shu Pei, Xiaoyi Dai, Mo Wandan, Du Juan, Fei Fei Sun, Bonnie Chen, Sui He, and Ping Hue.
